Kara’s February Adventures

February has arrived, and for elite athlete and super mum, Kara Saunders, the month is all about building on the foundations set in January while balancing family, work, and training!

Kara's February

Goal Chasing

After a restorative start to the year focused on family time and gently re-establishing daily habits, Kara is now working to maintain that consistency as she tackles her personal and professional goals.

Alongside juggling her kids and fostering puppies, Kara has been developing her business. She recently signed off on a new brand kit, which she describes as “amazing,” with a new website launch planned in the near future.

Training, training & training!

Training remains a central focus for Kara. She has set herself a fun challenge: testing how heavy she can get a 20RM back squat. Reflecting on a 120kg 20RM achieved back in 2016, she is curious to see whether she can match or even surpass that strength 10 years later and after having two children — all without spending more than an hour a day in the gym!

For these heavier lifts, Kara relies on the Motus Strength, which she appreciates for the fit and supportive sole that holds up under heavy loads. While the Gobi remain her go-to for comfort, the Motus Strength offers the stability she needs for serious strength work.

With a careful balance of family, business, and training, Kara’s February highlights how dedication and planning can keep both performance and lifestyle on track.
